The sentencing of Tory Lanez is a significant victory for Megan Thee Stallion and for all victims of gun violence. It sends a message that violence against women will not be tolerated.
It is also a reminder that gun violence is a serious problem in the United States. In 2020, there were over 45,000 gun-related deaths in the United States. This is a staggering number of people who have lost their lives to gun violence.
We need to do more to address gun violence in the United States. We need to pass common-sense gun safety laws and invest in mental health services. We also need to change the culture around guns in the United States. We need to teach our children about the dangers of guns and how to be safe around them.
We can’t afford to wait any longer to address gun violence in the United States. It is a serious problem that is costing lives every day. We need to take action now.
