North Carolina State University police are investigating the death of a student that happened Monday afternoon outside Sullivan Hall.

Police said they responded to a call of a person down at the residence hall at around 4:00 p.m. When they arrived, they found the student unresponsive and pronounced them dead at the scene.

The student’s name has not been released, but police said they are a male student who was a resident of Sullivan Hall.
